Part of Fall 2014
For the 21st edition of New Toronto Works, a collection of work came together that addresses heavy thoughts and political landscapes with a lightness of observation—a liquid futility that embraces the familiarity of darkness. Hello Darkness presents a meditative look at the good, the bad and the complicated understandings of grey zones in-between.
Works by Cale Weir, Oliver Husain, Felix Kalmenson, Michele Clarke, Kami Chisholm, Jesi the Elder, Rachel Crummey, Samantha Noseworthy, Tyler & Raynor Semrick-Palmateer, Steve Kado & Keith Rocka Knittel, Parastoo Anoushahpour, Daniel Froidevaux & Elisa Gonzalez, John Price, Colin Rosati, Ash Moniz, and Zeesy Powers. Installations by Victoria Cheong and Natalie Logan.
