For the third installment of the Tranz Tech Toronto International Media Art Biennial, Pleasure Dome co-presents a diverse selection of recent works from the UK and Canada. Following the UK/Canadian Video Exchange’s long history, this program, originally presented this spring at the South London Gallery, samples work from the original 43-title program. In conjunction with the program, don’t miss Effie Gibson’s Spin, presented as a video installation off the foyer at Latvian House during Tranz Tech’s four day run.

The Tranz Tech Media Art Biennial hosts nine curated programs containing sixty-five video works, five live-event performances, three new commissioned onsite installations and fifteen offsite exhibitions. The works are from a diverse range of countries including Canada, USA, UK, China, Finland, Japan, Lebanon, Palestine, Poland, Italy, Israel, France, and Germany. Throughout the four days, the Latvian House will be the site of ongoing experiments and experiences in new media, including the student lounge, audio walks, offsite installation tours, sound installations, and a media art symposium.
