Pleasure Dome is proud to present the premiere of Mike Hoolboom’s feature film Panic Bodies. Four years in the making, this multiplex journey rubs up against Hollywood, vintage porn and home movies to create a world where the living and dead may couple once more. Its queer horizons are filled with haunting performanes by Moucle Blackout, Ed Johnson, Tom Chomont, Kathryn Ramey, Jason Boughton and Janieta Eyre. Elegiac, darkly satiric and buoyant with the possibility of transcendence, Panic Bodies is a beautiful, complex masterwork by the most important Canadian filmmaker of his generation.

YYZ Artists’ Outlet hosts a book launch for Mike Hoolboom’s Plague Years, Saturday, October 10, 9:30 pm (following the screening) @ Rivoli Pool Hall (upstairs), 334 Queen St.West.
